Mark Woytowich
May 23, 1956 - May 6, 2022

Mark Woytowich grew up beside Mill Creek Park, in Ohio, one of the largest metropolitan parks in the nation. An explorer since his earliest days, he is currently the outdoors columnist for the Shelton-Mason County Journal as well as an avid wild mushroom hunter. Mark has been going off-trail to explore the canyons and forests of the Olympic Peninsula for more than 25 years, hoping to spread the sport of northwest canyoneering while sounding the call for greater care of our fragile riparian zones.
